Has anybody ever gone to this seminar? I was recently given an invitation to this seminar by a friend and wondered if this is a 2 good 2 be true scheme.

Has anybody ever gone to this seminar? I was recently given an invitation to this seminar by a friend and wondered if this is a 2 good 2 be true scheme.

If you do a forum search for Stephen Snyder you'll find several threads that mention him. Most say that he filed so long ago (13 years ago in 1995) that his experiences are not as pertinent now as they were before the bk law changed in 1998 and then changed again in 2005. I subscribed to his free newsletters for the last two years (he stopped them about four months ago) - they are ok but most of what he shared we've already sorted out here.

My take is that no expert is 100% right 100% of the time - not Stephen Snyder and not Dave Ramsey, two of the most frequently mentioned financial gurus here. If you gain some insights from listening to their seminars or radio programs, great. Just don't get caught up in the product push (which is where their real money is made) and buy things you really don't need.
