I thought the paper checks weren't to be sent out until the 9th.

Sorry if this was answered already. I read through, but I had to skim over some posts.

Will the stimulus check be counted as income for those of us who haven't filed yet? In other words, when they do the 6 month income test, will this rebate check be added to it? I'm literally just a few dollars underneath the median income requirement, and if they count this, it will put me over. Thanks!

At my 341, my Trustee handed out a sheet of paper for us to sign stating that we would turn over our stimulus check. Oh well, I wouldn't have gotten it anyway because I owe the IRS. I was shocked I got my tax refund. Less to pay later.

Good luck! Personally, and I know what I think won't matter to any trustee, I think the stimulus checks should be off limits. That is not what they were meant for. The are meant to stimulate the economy, not a creditors wallet!

I know we are waiting to file to protect ours, we need it way more then those creditors do. We are struggling as it is and hubby hasn't gotten any O/T for awhile, so right now things are very tight. That's how we ended up here in the first place, lost O/T. Now we are feeling what it's going to be like without cc and it's going to take serious budgeting!

Finally it worked! We are getting 1795.90 and it will be mailed on May 16th. We are those unlucky ones who paid our fees to Taxact out of our refund. So that means we will be waiting awhile to file. Atleast we finally showed up! I am not quite as worried now, would have like to have had it sooner.

I checked again, and it is due to be deposited into the account on 5/16, even though our last 2 digits is 06.

still nothing in my acct, will try the link again to see if it works...and it didn't tell me about my stimulus check but it looks like they've revamped the 'we're sorry' page to be more informative.
