I filed Ch.7 in 8-06 and it was discharged in 12-06. My home was included in the bankruptcy. The bank bought the house back and resold it last year to new owners. I know it went through the foreclosure process but it was my understanding that it would then be thrown out with the bankruptcy.
I pulled the credit report today and it still says foreclosure initiated for the mortgage. Shouldn't it say Ch.7 bankruptcy? I don't want it appearing as I filed BK and had my home foreclosed on. Does anyone know anything about this?
BTW- This is my first time posting but I've lurked around this bored several times over the last 2 years and it has helped me very much.
