First, thanks so much for all of your posts. I have been reading for the past few months, and the info has helped a great deal. Also good just knowing that I'm not alone in going through this.
So, today is my second lawyer's appointment--different lawyer. I am hoping to retain this lawyer and proceed with filing--hopefully for a Chapter 7 to discharge business debt from a failing business. (It's a sole proprietorship, so this would also be a personal bankruptcy.)
Anyway, to get to the point--are there any questions I absolutely should ask? I have the general questions, about what happens to a house I have a land contract on, etc.--if/how my filing separately will affect my husband, etc. But if there are general questions that I need to ask, please let me know.
I appreciate knowing that this forum will be here as I go through the process. After six months of looking for other options, then realizing bankruptcy was my best decision, it feels good to at least begin the process--but I am nervous and uncertain.
