Question 3 mos after discharge - ditech still harrassing

We were discharged about 3 months ago. Ditech has continued to call and call and call even after our lawyer called them up himself and apparently threw a bunch of legalities at them. The calls stopped for almost 2 months then this week started back up again. With the holidays, we've been unable to get in touch with our lawyer, but I'm wondering how long this can go on for? I mean, they know, they've been told, we've given them the bk number (it was a Chapter 7) and the lawyers info....we've done absolutely everything we could to get them to stop. They still continue to report us as delinquent and not as discharged. Anyone have any idea what can be done or just how illegal this is?

Since they are still bothering you even though your attorney has contacted them, maybe you should contact your trustee's office. There is a lady at my trustee's office that I have spoken with in the past about creditors still trying to collect after they have been warned. I had a creditor that is included in my Ch 13, and they would continuously try to collect after they were notified. I called this lady's office, and she must have handled it because I haven't heard from that creditor since, and it has been 7 or 8 months ago.

That is something that I will definitely do. I am not sure if I still have the business card that he supplied, but I'm sure it's listed in my paperwork somewhere.
