Some Courts will serve the notice for you (via the BNC), but I know that my Court didn't do that and I had so send out 50 envelopes (at $0.48 each). So, for me, while there was no Court cost, there was certainly a cost out of my pocket.
Perhaps your attorney will do it for "free" for you. Besides, it's your attorney who changes your address when you're represented.
