That is a refreshing attitude, I don't think I have heard anybody say that! No last minute butterflies?
Good luck, let us know how it went!
Just a tad nervous but not to bad. I know that once it's over..it will be over.
Once upon a time I had to sit before a board of 12 people. All asked random questions pertaining to a professional license I was obtaining. It lasted about 10 minutes. In that case I felt like I was on a stage with a spot light on me. Now that was pretty nerve racking.
Was told to park the car that we are surrendering and keep insurance on it. Is that unusual?
Other than that, went pretty smooth. There was about 10 cases, ours was the 5th or so called. Took about 8 minutes. All the cases were asked basically the same standard questions. I think we were asked a few more due to the property we are wanting to keep. All the others before us were either surrendering property or had no property.
glad it all went well for you ~~ If i recall , I don't believe you have to keep the insurance on the car, unless you plan on still driving it around town till they take it away.. Make sure you take the plates off of it tho ! good luck

As for the insurance, if I were in your shoes, I would keep the bare minimum on the vehicle you are surrending. I think that would be collision only, just in case, somebody possibly might hit it.
