do I close my checking account? I have my soc,security check direct deposit and their credit card is listed on my BK .Will they freeze my account?

It is certainly possible. Ultimately, if they freeze the account, you could get it undone, but it can be a real hassle and take time. Thus, the most practical thing to do is open a new checking account at a different bank and change your direct deposit.
