Preferential payment is an issue if you pay a creditor but don't pay another similar type creditor. So paying one unsecured credit card rather than paying some to all-is preferential. Same w/ paying back a family member rather than paying your creditors.
Paying past due rent would not be an issue, unless you had already moved out. (If you're not living there, it is an unsecured creditor. If you are living there, and don't pay up-they'll be able to evict you at some point.)

.. I guess once I sell it I don't have to worry anymore .. the reason I want to do it so quick is because I think next month Chrysler will be suing me .. don't wanna lose the car that's for sure ;)
