Question Live in Arizona and want to get a loan on my 401K

Does anyone here know what are the consequences if any of borrowing from my 401k to pay my attorney fees here in Arizona? I have done a search on this but they are dated back in 2007 and just wondering if anything has changed on this matter. I want to get a loan on my 401K and loan payment will be deducted biweekly from my pay. thanks

If you're still making unsecured loan payments and you are sure you're going to hire a bankruptcy attorney, it may be better to stop paying your unsecured loans and send that money to your attorney.

If you're already not making payments to your unsecured loans and you have no other way to pay an attorney, then it seems like a necessary evil to go ahead and borrow the money from your 401k.
