We be free, you and me. It is over for us and we. We be here, you and I to help others just getting by. Where they are now, we once was, so helping them we surely does. So what we learn hard or sweet, will tell those future discharged, do not repeat.

Heck I didn't know I was that talented? Or, am I?????? LOL. 'Hub

    Priceless!

Hey, one more Merlot, and I'll be posting right..................................... LOLOL

Seriously, I am so pleased that the OP is working their way to freedom. Our course was SOOOO good. It was worth while to even repeat it but not at $35. Mrs. and I really did enjoy it. We are in FL and I could recommend it, but only by PM. It is the second course. The company was so good and once we finished we called (due to an error message not valid) and when they responded they stated they got the test, the certificates were being emailed at that time and the error message was a fluke they were working on. How cool is that? 'Hub

we didn't learn anything about money management...although after we were done....some lady got on line and asked if we need food or shelter...i think we came off and were and are so broke it was really sad.

i also wonder if it's based on the total amount of you bk...what your asking the courts to discharge you think...because i THINK I KNOW it wasn't fair that some of you got a 15 minute thingy whist i had to see in front of my computer about payday loans that i never heard of...

not fair!! but then either is life i guess....

Take it online, but make sure they have a live counselor/operator you can speak to at anytime during your course. My attorney signed me up for an online one that doesn't charge for the serice. I completed the course and they never sent me a certicate. I kept emailing them asking for the certificate, but no human ever responded. My attorney they paid I think it was $50 out of his pocket for me to take another course. I was able to speak to a live operator when signing up and after the course was complete, a counselor called me and went over a couple wrong answers with me and then asked me if I had additional questions.

They also kept my original pre-bk test on file so it filled in some of the blanks for me and saved me another half hour to an hour of reentering the data.

All in all we spent over 4 hours with the reading and answering the test questions. I actually enjoyed the course, because I learned that I have been putting their suggestions in practice for a while now, so I'm well on my way to financial freedom. Also, our DE course was only around $12 and included both of our certificates. It pays to shop around a bit, unless your attorney wants you to take your course from a specific agency.
free yes, our atty suggested ......but it was court approved so we went with it...it was a total of $100!!!!! man o man did i get ripped off even taking this course... bummed out for sure!

For me, the pre BK interview lasted about 15 minutes. The after 341 online education session lasted about an hour.

What we got out of both those "tests" were, the pre bk is kind of an interview to see if you are aware of all that you are doing and are you really bk material. Ours went about 15 minutes with a lady asking questions. That was it.

The after 341 test was really neat and online. Took a good hour or better. I was surprised as it was actually interesting and we learned a lot from it. It was worth the $35 for both. I liked it. 'Hub
