Question DirectTV Service contract thru CH7

Hello folks, I have a 2 year Service contract for DirecTV that I signed up for 10 months ago. Discharged ch7 couple months ago. Is the Service contract still valid? Or can I terminate my DTV Service?

Did you include them as a creditor and stop paying them?

I don't know. I don't think I did. And no, I am still paying for the service, Im not past due.

I'm not sure but if you didn't list and stop paying them, your service contract is probably still valid. For example, I filed last year, but kept my cable like nothing ever happened.

You should always list these type contracts in your BK so you can then avoid early termination fees if you want to drop them later.
