When filing CH 7 do we send letters to the creditors or does the court send them .

the court notifies everyone you listed on the petition. that is why it is extremely important to provide correct addresses, account numbers., etc on your petition.
i was a bit slow about it and spent over $60 sending certified letter to them all. foolish of me, as i know they just went into the trash cans of all the creditors.
actually, until they see a docket number from the bk court, they will pursue collection of the debt. once you have filed they are all notified by the bk court and a stay is put on your accounts.
