    Meeting of Creditors

    Hi,

    What is the Meeting of Creditors? It says the the debtor can be questioned under oath by the trustee and by creditors. Does most of the creditors show up at that meeting? I owe over $100K to one credit card company. Should I at least expect them to show up there?

    Seldom does a creditor show up for the 341 meeting with the Trustee...... unless you are going to reaffirm on home/auto........

    A creditor can object without showing up for the meeting..... he just has to file and objection with the Trustee/Court......

            Yeppers Didn't realize until now that our trustee question lists for Ch 7 and Ch 13 were nearly identical, just from two different source websites...lol!
