sdunlap, did you file Chapter 7 or Chapter 13? If it's Chapter 7, then your second education is due before the discharge. Do not delay. Most people get it done right after the 341 Meeting.
If it's a Chapter 13, it depends on local rules. In Florida, seems they want it within 180 days of confirmation. However, the Bankruptcy Code, and their Forms (including Official Form 23 -- Certification of Debtor Education), indicate that it only need be done by your discharge. IN a Chapter 13, the discharge could be 36 months or 60 months!
Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10) Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10

Any advice provided is not legal advice, but simply the musings of a fellow bankrupt.
I was wanting to do our 2nd education credit thing this payday, before our 341 meeting, we aren't supposed to do that, or does it matter if we get it over with? I thought we just had to wait for a case # then we could?
8-4-09 Filed pro se Chap 7 (I still can NOT believe I took that first step!)
8-25-09 Approved to proceed in forma pauperis.
9-8-09 :dry:Trustee's Report of No Distribution.

It just has to be taken AFTER FILING and BEFORE DISCHARGE. Pretty simple.
Be advised, that some Trustees offer a free class on the same day of the 341 meeting.
