can anyone tell me how you file a judgement in chapter 7? do i just list the creditor that got the judgment the same as any other creditor or do i have to file it differently?
I'd expect so, but remember your statement of financial affairs too -- you may get to mention the court case in answering questions 4 or 5 or somesuch.
Yes, list it on the Statement of Financial Affairs (SOFA) as well as any other Schedule it belongs on (Schedules D-F). Whether it's dischargeable may depend on whether if this is a judgment lien and, if so, whether it impairs some other exemption. In that case, you may need to do "more" than just record it on your SOFA and Schedules.
Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10) Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10
