Sample Motion Forms?

I've never written a legal motion before. Is there somewhere I can download/purchase a sample 722 motion to use as a starting point? Also--what about responses to creditor objections? Do they need to be in a certain format? Can they be downloaded somewhere?

I've been searching everywhere I can think of but haven't had any luck.

I'll be filing in the Western District of Missouri.

It's called a Motion to Redeem. I searched on Google, and it popped right up. Below is the link for the "sample" Motion to Redeem from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court Southern District of Indiana. They all basically say the same thing and are short and sweet. You should also attach an exhibit indicating the value. Some Districts require these to be "VERIFIED" as well. That just means that you sign under penalty of perjury.

You may want to look at your Court's calendar for Redemption hearings and then lookup that specific case and document. That way, you can see what form is used in your District and whether they must be verified and/or sworn.

When I went to my confirmation hearing, the docket was available as a catalog to anyone who wanted a copy. On it was annotated the type of hearing that was being held. I kept it for reference so I have similar cases to reference as they come up. How the attorneys filled out the forms, how the judge ruled, etc. It might be worth your while to find out what day your district holds court, (Mine is some day during the first week of each month in alternating locations) and see if you can go pick one of those up. If you have such a thing, it saves you a ton of time and money on PACER.
