    Surrendered to Wells Fargo

We decided not to reaffirm our car which was financed through Wells Fargo. If we had, our first payment would have been due on 09/20, the date of our 341. Wells Fargo called our lawyer the next day, who left a message on our answering machine. I called the lawyer's office back yesterday (09/22). They gave me a number to call at Wells Fargo, which I then called. They came and got it about three hours later! Once they started that ball rolling, it rolled fast! I didn't realize that yesterday at lunch would be the last time I would be in that car...
    Filed Chapter 7 (08/17/10)
    341 Meeting (09/20/10)
    Discharge (11/30/10), Case Closed (01/18/11)

Wow, I'm surprised how quick it went. Now you said your "first payment" would have been due 9/20, implying this was a brand new car? Perhaps that's why they got it so quick.
    Stopped paying: 08/10, Filed CH7: 08/27/10 , 341 & No Asset Report: 10/6/10, Last day to object: 12/06/10, Discharged: 12/07/10, Closed: 12/08/10

No, it would have been the first payment on the reaffirmation agreement, had we agreed to reaffirm.

Yes, we were behind on payments when we filed. We quit paying on it in June.

Now it makes sense. Normally repo actions start when you go two months past due.
