    amen to that!!!

atty's WILL take payments!! i don't care that i could fill out any forms myself...i need someone that has relationships established with my district court and with the trustee's office...I NEED someone to know and understand the psychology of the court itself....i WANT an atty that i can feel is behind me or actually IN front with a sword protecting me.

i'm tough...and on monday's usually fairly smart...but i would NEVER think of doing this alone...

He who has himself for an attorney has a fool for a client?....yeap...he does!!

OK...i'm NOT pro se bashing i love you all and give you kudo's...it is just what i have seen go wrong in courts and i just would like someone sitting next to me that may actually know more than me...

know what you're talking about, that November 21st or 22nd is the date of another tier or something. I just exhausted one tier and was told that I'll be rolled over again from something from way back. Tallahassee told me it's really complicated to understand sometimes. My FL is due to totally exhaust in March '11 but since I worked in another state I can draw off them. Tallahassee said there's nothing new at this point about any new extensions. If I didn't have the other state, then I'd be in a real bind next March.

well we cannot complain.....we collected over 1 year and we were very grateful...it's just they pulled the 99 weeks out from underneath us without even cnn reporting the vote to stop the extensions...i see the tier thing..read it goes from 100% to 50% to 25% etc....we never made it to the 50%...

Boy, I hear you, tobee. Hubby's UI runs out the week before Christmas (Ho!Ho!Ho!) and that's it for him. No more extensions. He was never going to be able to get the full 99 weeks anyway, since his UI benefits come from Texas where he last worked and their unemployment rate is below the national rate. Unfortunately, the unemployment rate in our area in Florida is hovering around 13%. He's pretty much given up on finding a regular job.

we called our senators office yesterday and said...thanks for voting down the UI bill.....GLAD we didn't vote for you.....(we did early voting)...we r in florida also...but collecting from another state...it's ALL the states!!!!!! we found out yesterday...can you believe...it doesn't matter it actually goes by the state you live in not collect in...however, that makes no difference because the state we are collecting from has well over 10% unemployment!!!
