Just had 341 - Had 1 request from Trustee

I live in Vegas and gambled a great deal. It is reflected on my tax returns. The Trustee asked for a win / loss statement from a casino that I had a players cards from where I gambled. I said it won't be available until January and he said "well, we can wait". My 34 was on November 17th. I was very worried afterwards, but my Attorney said this was all he asked for and 99% of gamblers show a loss. I hopefully will be able to get it to the Trustee before my scheduled discharge. Do I have anything to worry about?

This doesn't affect the discharge. It affects the administrative close of the case.

I think you can still call the casino and ask them for a year-to-date win/loss statement. I was able to do that in the past. The player's accounting office usually knows exactly your win-loss at any point in time is how they create their "offers".

Took your advice. Called [the] Casino and they told me I'd have to wait until January. I think its gonna be a BIG win / Loss statement. I was told at the 341 that they'd wait if I have to get it in January, Trustee just wanted it for some reason. He asked if I used a players card and I said "yes". My discharge is scheduled January 17th. My attorney isn't worried and told me to just give it to her as soon as I was able to get it. Crossing my fingers!

Ah, maybe it's a smaller casino and they don't have a player's club that can do a statement at any time. I know the larger casinos can produce a statement at any time.
