Mine was when 13yrs ...My mom is a dies hard Beatles fan....So when Paul McCartney came to town, of course she was going to see him, and I got to go too. We saw him at Soldier's Field in Chicago, IL Our seats were 13th row on the field...It was neat. At one point my dad snuck me to to the stage. We watched him sing a few songs he was about 10 feet away!!!
....WOW that was cool........I guess I can't top that for your first concert!!!...LOL

Mine was to see Joan Baez (a 60s folksinger). My best girlfriend and I had a chance to go see the Beatles when they came to our city and that would have been my first concert, but my parents said no. (I have personally never forgiven them for that!)I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

I LOVE CONCERTS. I'm a concert kinda gal. My first concert I won on the radio station. I was 14. I won, front row Stryper tickets. They were a christian rock band and I was actually calling in to request a song and was the right caller. Had to BEG my dad to let me go. I got to go and I was hooked on concerts ever since. I was kind of a metal head,
but here goes:
Aerosmith
Metallica-4 times
Rob Zombie
Robert Plant
Poison
Tesla
Motley Crue-twice
Iron Maiden
Linkin Park
Def Leopard
Mudvayne
Megadeath
Garth Brooks
Martina McBride
Damn Yankees
Bad Company
Winger
Dio
There are so many more, I just can't think of them all. I really would like to see Disturbed and 30 Seconds to Mars in concert too.Filed: 08/09/06

I was into Motley Crue (old school Crue that is) for the longest time. For Nikki, Vince or Tommy I would have been a groupie sl*t
if given the chance back then. Now that I am older and wiser, I am glad I never had the opportunity.
Seems like we could have been best buds in school Saucey, lol-married approx same amount of years, same age kids, etc.. etc....

HELLO................... ANYBODY A "COUNTRY" FAN?????????????? LOL
Grew up on Elvis, the Beatles, the Beach Boys........ thru grade school and high school.
Being a "retired" WOODSTOCK GIRL........... I too appreciated the music of the 60's - especially Woodstock in 69'...........Aerosmith, Joan Baez, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Joe Cocker, Creednce, Jii Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Santana, The Who, Melissa Etheridge, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Allman Brothers Band, The Grateful Dead......
After my "wild 60's fling", in the 70's I turned a little Country............ I worked full time during the day and tended bar parttime at night in a Country/Western nightclub right outside a military gate...... Talk about a lively place (in the area a military base and 5 colleges).... seated about 200.
I tended bar for 8 years partime in this club and we were on the entertainment circuit out of Nashville..... Every other weekend we had entertainers from Nashville..... Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty, Tammy Wynette, Statler Bros, Oakridge Boys, etc...... putting on shows at the club. Being a member of the staff, I had the opportunity to meet and sit and talk with many of the entertainers that came...... and watch them during their rehearsals and then tend bar during their shows. (loved it - and lots of fond memories now).
Now my music is more laid back, a mixture of Bob Segar, Creedance, Mariah Carey, Conway, Kenny G, Los Lonely Boys, Toby Keith, Fleetwood Mac..... all depending on my mood at the time.......
Now even the folks at the office start yelling "burn me one of those" when I turn on my music......... no matter what their age.....
I didn't get to go to the concerts, I was always working....... but I sure enjoyed meeting the entertainers thru my job....... even more upclose and personal.....
Great Memories................... the stories I could tell......
Music wise............. I'm well rounded...... I love it all........Minny

Not much music that I DON'T LIKE........ pretty well rounded regarding it.....
Though now mostly country....... and old 60's music........ never got into bluegrass even though my relatives all played it..... my mom played the madalin and all her brothers guitars, etc.
Now most of my music is the kind to sit back, listen, and drink a cool one on the deck or funtime at party time!!!!Minny

Michael Stanley Band. They were mainly a local Ohio, PA and Indiana band, so many may not know of them. Anyways, this band was my inspiration to play music. Mainly the drummer is who inspried me. My parents are quite young...only 20 years older than me......so I was brought up on Rock-N-Roll.
Anyways, that was my very first concert I ever went to and it was the greatest for me. I got to see my idol play drums and what a trill it was.Bankruptcy History:
