    Do you believe in psychics?

I had a psychic reading yesterday. The guy who "read for me" held a quartz crystal and was reading my energies.

He said my career was really looking up. And that the recent divorce was the best thing that could have happened to me because not being tied to the X is going to allow me to open alot of new doors. He says I've been dead inside this marriage for more than 5 years. All true!

All the while, I just sat there and listened while nodding once in a while in agreement or acknowledgement. But this is not a generalization. They were extremely targeted comments!

Anyway, the reader starts telling me about someone special in my life. He goes on to tell me my friend is a buisness owner, which is true! (Mind you, I did not say one word about my friend. We're not even "officially" dating though we get together once a week.) Then the reader tells me that I'm going to be going on a 3 day vacation sometime soon, maybe Chicago or Vegas.

So here's the kicker, my friend and I discussed going to either one of those places for 3 days over the Memorial Day holiday! Is that freaky or what?!!?

I guess it's one thing if somebody can look at you and make a generalization about you. Like when you are at the theme park and the person tries to guess the month of your birthday or your age. But these were extremely targeted and specific comments that were dead on!

Has anybody else had similiar experiences?

I've tried them a few times and all of their "predictions" were off. One even told me (early on in my marriage) that I'd have 3 kids, but not with the man I'm with now. That totally freaked me out.

Here I am 18 years later with one precious little girl married to that same man. So, no, from my own personal experience I don't, but I'd love to find one that IS for real.

I'm sure there a few real psychics out there, but I think many of them aren't "trained" in the "art" if you will. If you were to read-up on the this phenomenon you'd be surprised at how a tremendous amount of psychic "abilities" are in actuality trained skills/techiques/methodologies. I also think that some psychics are more talented, and savy in their practice than others.

I have not been to a fortune teller but a friend of mine tried palm reading on me and there are two things he has mentioned about my future. One of them has come true. I am still working for the other one. You see, good fortune as they say is a product of hard work, perseverance and prayer...

I had a man in New Orleans (my place of conception) read my palm years ago. I asked him 3 questions and he told me three answers which were 100% accurate.

There are people with gifts I do believe.

I believe if you a "see a pennie PICK IT UP .. heads it is .. YOU HAVE GOOD LUCK,"

            Tails, leave it behind ..

I believe in wishing on a "shooting star,"

Hee hee, just my 2 cents

I saw this PHAT SHOOTING STAR one night, the coming weekend I did a little gambling at the casino. I hit for $5000 on my last $20 dollar bill. I put $3000 aside and took $2000 with me to another casino and hit again for another $5000

            THANKS SHOOTING STAR ! ! !

Don't waste your money on fortune telling, unless it is from your entertainment budget...

Do you believe in religion? Because that takes faith.

Um, no. Religion was created by the ones in powe to control the masses. But, that's another thread in its self.
