Travel to Europe..........

Hi, everyone. Has anyone here recently been to Europe? If so please answer these questions.
Do all Europen countries now have the Euro as currency or are some still under their old currency?
Would it be more worthwhile to get American Travelers Checks here and cash them at overseas banks, or use credit cards for hotels, car rentals, etc?
If I buy Travelers checks here would they be considered cash advances by the credit card companies?

Hang on, magyar123....back up for a minute....you are contemplating filing bankruptcy and you are traveling to Europe? Is it a family emergency?

If you use credit cards to pay for your travelers checks, then yes, they can be considered cash advances.

I'm not sure how travelers checks show up in the bankruptcy equation, frankly because most folks filing bk aren't traveling anywhere that requires their use. What does your lawyer say about this?
