    Quick poll....

    What will you watch this evening?

    Washington Redskins vs. New York Giants
    OR
    McCains Republican propaganda BS

    ?????

    #2
    Didn't see the poll yesterday but will definitely be down with McCain's Republican BS! Mike Huckabee, great speaker and Sarah Palin knocked one out of the park!
    As an old Rabbi my son knows says:
    "Staunch Republican"
    "Hardcore Democrat"

    Staunch = character
    Hardcore= pornography

    just couldn't resist the jab! have fun.

        I haven't decided yet. It's a tough choice between Malcom In The Middle and Homer Simpson reruns and the convention.

          I'll be at a baseball game, but if I were home I'd be watching "McCains Republican propaganda BS". Just like last week I sat and watched "Obama's Democratic propaganda BS"

          But tomarrow I'll look for video of the complete speech online.

            I will definitely be watching McCain and the Republicans, just as I watched the Democrats. I would hope anyone who is voting would try to watch them both and not just listen to what the media tells you - sound bites, etc). Thats exactly what the media wants you to do - don't watch, just let us "interpret " it for you. I prefer to make up my own mind, thank you.

              I agree. I've even taken to watching it on C-span so I don't have to deal with the comentators.

                Oh I don't know. It's all alot of BS, especially that enduring torture, not being able to raise his arms and that "character and honor thing" about not taking the "easy out" from prison. I really am sure that he realized that "I better not muff this sewer greens and worms and broken limb thing becuase one day I'll be runnin' for the White House". I'll need it for my "BS".

                I read Howard Rutledges book in 1980 (name forgotten), Mccain was mentioned several times and I believe that he was one of the three who held church services against the orders of his captors and was led away to solitary singing God Bless America. Of course none of that speaks about character.

                takin a chill pill...

                  Neither. I had a heck of a day today and am now going to take a long bath and then go to bed with a book.

                  I'm sure all of McBush's stuff will be on the news tomorrow so I'll catch up then.

                    I probably won't listen to much honestly. I like Palin but am pretty much indifferent as to the others. More of the same, good character doesn't necessarily mean good at governing.

                          My husband is a VietNam Vet too. He has the ultimate respect for McCain. My mom had always been a Republican but changed several years ago. However, this year, I think she is going to cross back over for McCain (she was for Hillary). Pretty much everyone else in my family are for McCain. My brother-in law spoke at the Democratic convention. He has met Obama and McCain and he likes both but is going to vote for McCain.

                            I did watch Sarah Palin's and Rudy Giuliani's speeches. I mostly watched Gov. Palin's because I don't know much about her. I thought her speech was good. But I do not plan to vote for McCain or Obama. I will be voting for Bob Barr. ( I also watched the Libertarian Convention).

                              I gotta admit I don't even know where I would find coverage of the Libertarian convention.
