    Precious Memories

    Jim Reeves - Precious Memories

    Precious memories, unseen angels,
    Sent from somewhere to my soul;
    How they linger, ever near me,
    And the sacred past unfold.

    Chorus
    Precious memories, how they linger,
    How they ever flood my soul;
    In the still ness of the midnight,
    Precous, sacred scenes unfold.

    Precious father, loving mother,
    Fly across the lonely years;
    And old homescenes of my childhood,
    In fond memory appears.

    Chorus
    Precious memories, how they linger,
    How they ever flood my soul;
    In the still ness of the midnight,
    Precous, sacred scenes unfold.

    In the stillness of the midnight,
    Echoes from the past I hear;
    Old time singing, gladness bringing,
    From that lovely land somewhere.

    Chorus
    Precious memories, how they linger,
    How they ever flood my soul;
    In the still ness of the midnight,
    Precous, sacred scenes unfold.

    As I travel on life's pathway,
    Know not what the years may hold;
    As I ponder, hope grows fonder,
    Precious memories flood my soul.

    Chorus
    Precious memories, how they linger,
    How they ever flood my soul;
    In the still ness of the midnight,
    Precous, sacred scenes unfold.

    I'm not religious, but this song really touches me, especially Gentleman Jim Reeves singing.

    That's one of the beautiful old hymns...... and yes, Jim Reeves sang it well......

      I have afew Jim Reeves tunes on my HD and on my MP3 Player, some with Patsy Cline, very nice stuff. In Nashville in the 60's you couldn't get on the Bobby Lord Show unless you did some gospel.
