Learn to live with socialism it won't be that bad

I think it is good that we are moving our country into a socialist system. Eventhough I don't believe it will work I know I can survive and prosper. Let the chips fall where they will. Bring on cap and trade and lets put more evironmentalist in office. Ban smoking and tax all high fat foods. Eliminate all tax from under 50,000 earners and tax the hell out of the rich that make over 75,000. Make sure God is totally removed from our society. The faster we screw up our country the sooner the revolution will come. I am talking non-violent revolution. It is going to take the super depression to change our society to a more moralistic God fearing people. Our children (the ones that didn't get aborted) or maybe the next generation will learn from our mistakes and really fix our screwed up country. We are like the Roman Empire before it fell. It just sickens me to turn on the crappy TV and see all these stupid shows. Turn on the radio and listen to filthy lyrics. No wonder the Muslims in the middle east call us infidels...we are to some extent. It saddens me more to read the constitution and compare it to what we are now. Let California go bankrupt, they brought it on themselves. Tax the hell out of companies and watch your 401K's dry up and jobs go overseas. Make sure nobody has to work for any basic needs. Make this country one big hippie commune. Eventually the creative minds will get fed up stop producing for no return.

so in a nut shell...all these god fearing christians running the country are not doing it right. I would certainly agree with that.

Ban smoking and tax all high fat foods.
People have the right to put anything they want into their body until it directly harms someone else. But you might be right because we do not deserve any kind of freedom as humans. Or maybe the RepDem government should make up a menu that everyone has to eat, daily, even when you dont like it, or else you get punished for not eating it.

Why are you singling out the Christians? In general when a population follow moral rules things are better and safer. But even in that context there is always going to be sin and evil, even from God fearing people. I look forward to the days when there is less crime, less government and more personal responsibility. The same thing is happening in Muslim and Hindu countries. Decades ago pepople treated each other with more respect in all countries, even those ran by God fearing Muslims, Hindus and Buddist. When someone makes a stand and says they believe in God the non believers love to point out any sin they make. Those that believe in God often sin as much or more than non believers. I think Celente makes many good points. We will be in a super depression from overspending. This is from the people, not just Obama and Bush. We want to spend and want more and more for no extra work. That is why we vote in the people that will do it for us. I am getting ready and this BK is part of that process. I fell for the hype the credit card comanies were selling me just like I fell for the free love of the 60s and drugs of the 70's. I am older now and wiser and still learning. One thing I do believe is our country is heading for revolution.

Sounds like John Hagee, Jeremiah Wright, Pat Robertson and Irans Ayatollah all in one. I hardly consider being put to death for leaving the muslim religion as respectful nor do I consider being gunned down by islamic government for peaceful protest or for not wearing the right clothes, as respectful or moral.

          You scare me.

the brutality in Iran, brings back memories a lot of you younger people. probably havent heard too much of, good ol Mayor Daley of Chicago and his goon squad police in the 60,s did pretty much the same as the revolutionary guard is doing in Iran now, busting heads, and they had the FULL support of old mand Daley. during the Democratic convention, and not to forget the Kent State massacre.. our own troops fired on innocen students, killing 4... just like we saw in Iran....are we really that much different???

if a grossly obese chronically drunk person walks out of burger king after eating a few whopers, and lites a cigarette and drops dead, blame just the cigarette????

Like I said there are always crimes but I would have rather taken a plane ride to Egypt, Syria, Somolia or LA back in the 60's than I would now. Why would I scare you? Please don't be afraid of me because I don't agree with your views. Some believe in global warming, I don't. Some believe we are visited by aliens in space ships, I don't. Some have no problem with taking a baby out of womb at 8 months and killing it, I do. Some belive cradle to grave control and assistance from government, I don't. Just becasue I don't agree with you you say I scare you? Are you afraid of the dark of just afraid of God? I am not scared by you but I also don't want to bore the group with a personal chat between us. I was just adding to the discussion about the upcoming super depression. Take care and have a nice evening and thanks for your brief debate which just ended since I scare you.

                Exactly my sentiments as well.

Today you are seen as a criminal if you smoke less than 15 feet from any door way in the US and then here someone is saying smoking must be banned. I dont even smoke but I know how wrong punishing people for smoking is. People are punished if you forget to put on your seatbelt. In New York you will be throm into jail and fined just for lighting a sparkler on the 4th of July. I heard stories of the 70's where the chicago police went in and terrorized, arrested and beat on gay people just for being gay. Iran murders people for you leaving the muslim religion -AND- For anyone to say Iran is somehow cleaner and more holy than the USA because of a bunch of religious crap, is precisely what got the pilgrims to leave europe and the catholic murdering government in the first place.

Are you serious or just being sarcastic? For those that actually agree with your statement always amaze me on why they insist on lisving in the USA. I'm not implying that if you don't agree with me then please leave my country.

What I mean is there are enough socialist nations in the world to please all the liberal socialist and I could never understand why so many still choose to stay here.

I for one stay here for the simple fact that we are the best, right or wrong.

If I thought like a socialist I would move to France and be happy. I wouldn't drag a great nation to that level like some are doing.
The essence of freedom is the proper limitation of Government
