    I quit my job...

and Ive never been more free...

it was not much of a job, and did not pay that much..but
I had to get up at 3am every morning for a 3 hour job,
and it was 7 days a week...I was tired when I got up,
I was tired all day, then i was tired when I go to bed,
and taking up to 2-3 hours to go to sleep...

it was just tip money, but knowing that I would never
    get a day off...

I never thought I would say, some jobs
    are worth quitting...

Oh I disagree. Health is more important, and a three hour job for tips? He could do better picking up cans for the day for the aluminum. That was no job that was a waste of time and health. 'Hub

I don't disagree. I was just wondering Hell I quit just to move across the pond. My old job wasn't even that bad.

Was this a second job in addition to a full time job? If so, you were headed for mass destruction eventually and you did a wise thing. If an only job needed for income say to supplement social security or a pension, it's a personal/household/monetary decision and takes a lifestyle adjustment as it would those working overnight shift work. And if an only job for 3 hours a day plus tips, there would be no benefits provided and you would be at poverty level and if no other income, probably eligible for food stamps and public assistance. All depends on your own personal situation.
