If so, why are you worried about having to pay them back?? If you HAVE to pay them back they trustee would have converted you to a CH 13 right?? What is this amount even for?? Worse case if (it is for property), is that you have to reaffirm....NO biggie!!

I got a statement in the mail for an account that is on my BK case, and I called them, and told them to stop sending me bills until further notice. I told them that they are on my petition, and they are NOT to contact me until discharge.

if they want money then they can object to me taking the cash advance and spending that i did with it. creditors can object to anything they want. it was 2 months before i filed my petition and figured i better get some cash and buy some things. didnt even know i was going to file until i got my target bill for the shopping i did earlier that month. then i lost it and filed. i love target but no way im gonna pay them that much money.
