Converting 13 to 7 before 341

Does anyone have any experience converting a ch 13 to a ch 7 before the 341 meeting of the ch 13?

I'm trying to figure out the best timing for all of this.

Any advice would be appreciated.

As long as you "qualify" for a Chapter 7 you have the right to convert the 13 to a 7 at any time.

We do qualify, but we are going to have to let the house go. Our attorney said it was best to change as soon as we know we are going to and before we get the trustee, which I took to mean the 341. I'm just not sure if I can wait until the week before or if there are reasons I should go ahead and do it now.
