Now again I am not defending G.W. Bush!!!!! I do have to ask that if someone said this about Bush would any of you Obama supporters think he should be terminated or would you say "Oh yeah it's true Bush is a Nazi".

Personally Bush and Obama are the same except for the obvious. I just want to see if there's a double standard in America as I am certain there is.

I never liked Hank Williams Jr. I adored Hank Williams Sr. and have and love all his music. I now have a new respect for his son and shall listen more of his music. Need I say more? Hope things Change before it's too late. 'Hub

Remember with the whole George Bush hates Black people debacle durin Katrina? Kanye West was dropped from all sorts of ads and it took him a few years to rebuild. He made an ass out of himself. He lost bunches of money for running his mouth! Rightfully so I might add. You cannot make a hateful statment like that and get away with it. It is the same exact situation with Obama. You can not make that kind of remark and still be the poster child for a product. We as americans will hit you in the pocket for it. So nope, no double standard. Its one thing to not like Bushs politics, or Obama's politics. Its another thing to make such a wretched statement that puts them against a whole race, religion, or ethnic group thats sick and twisted.
          So nope....no double standard.
BTW I am an independent who voted for both Bush Jr and Obama.

He's not like Hitler in anyway. He is a bit like Mussolini and maybe a bit of Fidel Castro.

He's like Mussolini which was a fascist because it's the merger of state and corporate powers (US Govt and AIG, GM, Chrysler, Citi, etc.) which is what fascism is.

He's also a Socialist like Castro taking control of the healthcare system instead of allowing the free markets to lower healthcare costs and it worked many years ago!!!!! It can work again!

Hitler he is not. I will change my belief however if he invades foreign countries (like Hitler) without congressional approval. Actually he did with Libya, but who's counting.

I didn't vote for Obama. In fact, I don't even like him. I would compare him to Jimmy Carter.

The ever so present political correctness monster reared its ugly head with this. Jr. did not compare Obama with Hitler at all.

He made the comparison of Obama and Bainer playing golf to Hitler and Netanyahoo playing golf. Just a comparison of two different groups of people that should not be playing golf together.

And yes..... I know I spelled it wrong.

There are certain things as a public persona you can't (shouldn't) say in a public forum. HW Jr. joins the list of dummies who forgot that rule. But it is good to know that people are free to voice support for moronic comments.

Please note the rhetoric of this 1933 speech. Sound a bit familiar? It should as 'Bammy used the same promises.

This is the point that is getting lost in all of this. He never even implied that Obama was in any way similar to Hitler. He merely said that two political leaders on the opposite ends of the spectrum should not be playing golf together. That was his opinion, but he said it in a very stupid manner.

I say good riddance. If his last name hadn't been Junior, he probablly wouldn't have been on Monday Night football to start with!

This was just another knee jerk over reaction, when someone says something.. Now I'm not saying it wasn't in bad taste for HW to say that. But it's at the point where anyone says their opinion that it out of the norm and not politically correct, all hell breaks loose.

Should ESPN have pulled Jr? I think it was a mistake for them to react in this way. Certainly other ways of ESPN to handle this matter. But it's their network and only they can change it.
