Anyone watching Eagle Cam north fort meyers

I am a wildlife watcher, I have been watching these 2 babies of Eagles grow, they are 7 and 8 days old. They escaped the bowl nestle last nite for awhile. Harriet the mother pushed them back in the bowl nest as they got too close to edge.
They will start flying out about 11 weeks old.

I sent you the site, but you can google it too, If you go down bottom of page , the forum is quite interesting , they snap pics all nite and put them on the site and utube also. I also have a couple sandcranes who live on my pond and bring their new babies to my patio each mating season. It starts now again ,I cannot wait for the next one to be hatched.

Two babies , Eaglet 1, 9 days old, Eaglet 2, 7days old. Ozzie and Harriet have nested here for about 5 yrs straight. The next week or 2 will be fun watching, they will be hard to keep in the bowl shaped part of the nest.

I heard about this on the Neal Boortz radio show, but haven't had the chance to look. Thanks for reminding me.

I was a bit worried , as Mother left them for over a hour this morning, I worry a Osprey Hawk would fly by and take one for food. They steal baby Gribbs from our pond for their food supply. I was sure glad when Mom and Dad showed up.

i wonder why they are gone so long??? it's the biggest problem for the little guys someone coming alone and stealing them for food

I figure she was flying for exercise and hunting for food for herself. Enjoying herself away from the nest. Yesterday the Dad was there while she stayed gone. He was there early this morning for awhile that was it. It is amazing how fast they will grow. I know my Sandhill Cranes never left the Colt alone period for the 9mos he stayed with Mom and Dad before they kicked him out of the family to go out on his own.
