My parents are comming today for a visit. I am going color blind so picking out paint is not something I should do alone. The realtor is meeting my parents and I at the new house so my mom can go through paint samples with me.(My parents live a little over 3 hours away)

Good Morning to you all as well. Minnesota is looking sunny and warm today. We are bringing the kids to get their school supplies and shoes today. I can't believe how expensive shoes are these days.

Ohio has been absolutely delightful this week. The temp's have been in the upper 70's and low 80's, no humidity and the sun has been shining everyday. I could live in this weather all year long. Oh yeah, today is just perfect. DUH BassBoy, answer the member's question.......LOL!

Ky is NICE TODAY....... yesterday and last night severe storms/tornados ripping thru...... rain 3" an hour.

One thing about KY - if you don't like the weather right now - stick around - it'll change in 30 min......

                Morning Folks.....................

Here in the middle of the country the heat wave (more than 100 degree days for the last 10 days with humidity in the 60% range....hot, hot, HOT!) finally broke yesterday - woohoooooo! Today it's balmy 80s. I feel like I'm on vacation (oh yeah, I AM on vacation today! lol!) Just like Minny said - here in the midwest, if you don't like the weather today, wait til tomorrow!

It's a nightmare here, just paid 2675.00 for HO Insurance!!!! for a townhome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hate this place with a passion, dealing with permits with the stinking City of Sunrise and the neighborhood HOA, I loath these people, the hell with South Florida and the hell with these arrogant associations that think this is Manhattan!

Got a notice on my truck, my GMC (my 2001 Sierra that I bought new) parked in front of the house that looks like new, threatening to tow it, I had forgotten to put the new license plate on the vehicle. I sent a nice email to the association explaining that I had just returned from a hunting trip and hadn't even had time to clean my guns, no less put the plate on. No joke, I did. I also explained that this regulation was for abandoned vehicles, not someone forgetting to tag a vehicle nine days late. Now, I don't really feel like putting the plate on, I want a confrontation. Personally, I take care of my place better than most and after a week out of here I feel like ripping these folks throat out, not metaphorically! Sorry to rain on the parade! I want to see the look when the SKS is in the Tow Truck drivers face, or maybe the Russian Sniper Rifle with the big scope! I'll probably put the plate once my blood stops boiling.

My last letter to them included my overhearing several neighbors stating that they were going with Section 8 because of the high rents, the pres. was very nice and very concerned after that. My car wasn't singled out, several non-legit vehicles also got notices.

I've just had my fill of Florida. It's over. Sorry for the rant, just really ticked off at the lousy State.

Florida might be a nice place to vacation - but I sure wouldn't want to live there.......

I like my peacefull, country style, cheap living..

Let me tell you about Florida....

....the workers never show up, and when they do, it's just on Tuesday or Wednsday...(Monday is a recovery day from the weekend before, Thursday is getting ready for the next weekend, and friday, workers are recovering from pre-party Thursdays)...9a.m. really means noon....and right now, it's so freaking hot that I get sick when I walk outside my office. Not safe to eat in restaurants in this heat because workers in the kitchens leave the food out & by the time you eat it, that just little bit of salmonella finds a home in your stomach...(this could happen anywhere right now, but it's rampant down here)......I think the heat is just getting to everyone down here.

60% humidity? Don't I wish. Most of the summer we have 80-95% humidity. And today by the way has been absolutely beautiful compared to the past month or two.
