    How to Get an Annoying Song out of Your Head

    Has 'Barbie Girl' or 'Macho Man' been running through your head all day, and now you want it gone? Here are some steps to follow to rid your head of these annoying tunes. If you find one step doesn't work, just go on to the next tactic.

                That Ford commercial that had a band playing a jingle type of song, it started out showing the drummer and the band had a blonde female singer, and the chorus of the song was "beep, beep"......pain in my ears from the first time I heard it, lol. That jingle would stick in my head for hours too. I would be in the shower, hear it come on and plug my ears for 30 seconds. If watching tv and it came on, the channel changed within a second.

                I haven't seen it for about 3 months now so hopefully its gone for good. I dont know if it was shown nationwide but I'm sure some of you know the one I'm talking about.


                The other, which is not a song, but "HEAD ON APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE FOREHEAD"...........AHHHHHH! More pain in my ears! LOL
                When it all boils down to it, its just numbers! Your credit score, your interest rate, your bank account, and your net worth if you're fortunate enough to have one......is your happiness really defined by numbers?

                  Son took that one and applied it to the other end. That commercial comes on and we get his version of it. Then Hubby picked it up for when Son isn't here.

                  A little interpretive thinking and I'm sure you can come up with the appropriate lingo for their "new" slogan.

                    This should be a good laugh.....

                    OMG! Elmo's World. My 2 year old's favorite show is Sesame Street. Obviously. Well, today when I get home from work, he's watching Sesame Street...naturally...and it's Elmo's World again....LOL! Now what's really funny is I can mimmick Elmo's voice perectly......"Elmo loves his Gold Fish, His crayons too....That's Elmo's World." Damn, another song stuck in my head. Well, comsidering the last time I posted some of the words to a bad song, that got rid of it....so.....here I am again to dump another tune all of you. ROFLMAO!

                        lol @ ace of base songs. I remember them "way back in the day".

                        My kids are really into High School Musical right now and if it's not on in the background they are singing it themselves. Way off key and very loud. I have been humming/singing "bop to the top" for weeks now.

                            Ace Of Bass? Hated it. Although, anything is better than the song I mention in the very first post.

                              I sure needed the laugh today. Was tired, grouchy, and ticked at the paralegal for keeping me on hold forever yesterday and NEVER taking my phone call!

                              Anyway, the song that's in my mind is "Miss New Booty!" My daughter came in the kitchen singing it off key (as if it had a key to begin with!)

                              BOOTY, BOOTY, BOOTY, BOOTY, ROCKIN' EVERYWHERE---UGH!!!

                              Have been known to have Barry Manilow songs running through my head when trying to fall asleep--double ugh!
