This one (SMinGA) I did 'connect with Facebook'. Need to know my password to change email address, and I don't think I ever created a password. When I click to have it 'resend' nothing comes thru. But then, that was the original problem with trying to sign up with me @att.net email address, the confirmation would not go thru.

Maybe I can use an @gmail.com? Will work on it later...
The one I use here is a gmail account - no problems -- well, except for THIS!!

It is a plugin - here is what it does

It is supposed to make it easier for folks, they dont have to go through normal reg process, similar to the way and OpenID would work

Hmmm, I'm using 2 different emails for the BK forum and for FB.

I did log into dh's FB, since we use the same laptop and BK forum is NOT on his FB as an application.

Just did an 'experiment'. Created a new BKF account (this one) using another email address, logged in/out/in again to Bkforum with it. NOT choosing 'connect with Facebook'.

Used same email address to create a FB profile. At first BKforum was not on my list of applications. After creating the FB profile, and logging out/in again here - it shows as an application.

I think the bigger question is why does THIS website continue to let it be linked??? None of the other websites that I visit show up on facebook - only this one?

You can block applications, let me do it successfully before I share how.

Okay, I just signed on my daughter's facebook page to see if she could see which applications I have installed.

BUT!!!!!! While I was on her site, I clicked on Applications to delete all the junk that I KNOW she has on hers. BKFORUM was on her applications too!!! We use the same computer -- but how on earth????? She uses her own personal email address for facebook and has NEVER been on this forum. This is just too weird!!

Ah ok, I see that now. Thank you!

I'll be checking my applications page everytime I log in over there.

    Great.

I'm pretty new to facebook and after looking at some of my friends profiles I haven't spotted a way to see their applications so I figured they couldn't see mine. Still learning my way around over there.
