    WHEN is enough a nuff????

Our Government (FDA) has just declared that there is too much arsenic in apple juice. Next they will claim too much vitamin C in Oranges, and grape juice is out as if it gets warm could ferment into wine.

I am so tired of Mother Government telling me that coffee causes cancer, coffee cures cancer, this thing is bad, then this thing is good. Milk of course is out as too much lactose.

When is it going to stop? Will we soon be on tofu for food and soy for drink or, Soylent Green?

I can see where our "Children" now rioting, camping out and trashing parks and Wall Street come from. You get a diploma Government must give you a job. Yes and as thy shout up with Communism and cradle to grave guidance by our Motherly all knowing Government, your grave may be about 30 years when (as in movie Logan's run) you get to "renew", by lazer death in lieu of 'Bammy's 'purple pill'.

I've had enough and I have preached and do preach stockpile storable commodities and barter able items. I see no out in either parties as I believe the damage done is irreversible.

Our Government is now bailing out everyone including us. How is your life style improved since our promise of "Hope and Change"? I now have less change in my pocket then 2008. I do have more ammunition though and stockpiles of storable food. If you do not, better look around at your area and tell me how many more vacant housed to YOU see? Where are those people?

Stockpile your savings, many paper pieces. There are plenty out there about to hit soon called INFLATION. Fear not, FDIC will protect your savings by printing more pieces of paper. No problem. Eat them or use them as toilet paper later.

Now, do I sound bitter, crazy, demented? No, every time I see the World news, I sound realistic.

This is my opinion and I'm sticking to it. 'Hub

I do not comment on political issues so I just want to say the following. . .

This is old news. Back in September “Dr. Oz” broke this story on his show (unacceptable arsenic levels in prepared apple juice). If I recall correctly he asked the FDA to comment before the show aired but it declined. The very next morning the FDA (and others) said his allegations were BS, not backed by any valid scientific data and simply an attempt at sensationalism that was going to panic the general population. While I am not a fan of this TV doctor, look at the FDA now.

Thank you, Des, but, yes, look at the FDA now. Another bureaucratic Czar run Socialistic Controller of us, the "masses". I resent this quickly growing tax society. Call it what you may, "user fee" "fishing license", License plate (in FL it doubled in price last year), Tolls, excise, etc. I'm bankrupt and I see my grandchildren being sold into serfdom. Thank God I am at the end part of God's time for me. I will be spared to see what is coming and I am blessed that I live in the best times of this our great Country. I regret having to see it decline so quickly and dangerously. I/we have been blessed in our BK as it was so attacked by my enemy and a very poor lawyer. We stay here to give back to society what we can afford. Our time and our care. I wish I could do the same with our Country.

I respect you greatly, even if you do not agree with my thoughts. I'm just airing my ire in what I see this Country doing for others then for our own (in a counterfeit way) that is not legitimate but politically self serving. Creating a needy upon Government populous is not what this country is about. You as a student of our Constitution know best that the Federal Government was only her to combine and protect us in war, not to micro manage States Rights.

The so-called Civil War was not about slavery. It was about States Rights in which we have lost long ago. The spin off was of course the freedom and abolishment of slavery and rightly so. We here in the South call that war "The War of Northern Aggression". It was not a Civil war. It truly was a war between the states.

Remember, I have stated before, I am a registered Democrat and was born in IL. Not that this is my fault. Mom was to blame for the birth and I for the bad choice this season, in politics. I believe my choice for President has been royally assassinated. It is Herman Cain. Taken down by words not proven.

OK, I'm out of wind. LOL. 'Hub

        Hub,

I appreciated that but I did not say I did not agree with you. Just said I don't get into political debates. Not my strong suit.

For anyone who doubts how dangerous a government - *any* government - can become, I suggest reading this small piece:

          http://www.economicpolicyjournal.com...-tracking.html

Hub, my good man, in red-star socialist-wanna-become-communist regimes of yesteryear (at least in the ones where I grew up) government couldn't have cared less about what you ate, drank and whether you smoked...as long as you kept your mouth shut and obeyed the orders, you were pretty much left alone within your four walls and immediate family...

Now, if you were to complain to your neighbor that there was no milk when you arrived at the (government-owned) store that morning...well, people have vanished for less...let's leave it as that...

          Good luck to us all.
No person in their right mind files a Ch. 13 with lien strip pro se. I have. Therefore, please consider me insane and clinically certifiable when reading my posts, and DO NOT take them as legal advice of any kind.Thank you.

All I know is I drank lots of apple juice growing up as a child, I drank water out of the tap, and I played jump rope in the street.

I just refuse to watch the news now days. it is too depressing.

Hub, I think you and I agree about where this country is heading, just not about who is pushing us there. Socialism is NOT what you saw in eastern EUR or the former USSR - they merely appropriated the name and SOME of that ideology/political philosphy. The "social market" (as teh Germans call it - and yes Germany and France are doing find thank you) is far closer...it means ENFORCED competition (in GER or FRA you pay about 50% less - or more less - for example for your cable/internet/wireless bill and have BETTER and FASTER service because of enforced competition - no "too big to fail" wireless companies - and yes, you have universal healthcare - excellent in FRA and GER, you have free or nearly free university education (as it USED to be in many places in the US until the early 70's), job security, etc.

The people driving us into economic oblivion aren't the "kids" protesting about crushing student loan debt and no jobs; the reason we have no jobs is that the 1% CHOSE to send the jobs to India, China etc.

It isn't socialism you see (or at least not the European definition) rather creeping fascism - Mussolini's original definition is the merging of the corporate with the state...

Re the Civil War...slavery cannot be defended - and that economic/social system had the South STUCK, while the North was moving forward into, well, capitalism, which was a superior system to medieval slavery.

Well said! If someone actually looked at the German system they would see that it is better for 99% of the people whereas the American system is better for 1% of the people. So what should we really have? Anyone who makes under $250k and votes for ANY Republican is voting against there own economic interest -- it really is that simple.

I totally agree and couldn't said it better. But who continues to allow this to happen? When you have Presidential candidates who are tone death on Foreign Affairs, not knowing the voting age and make false campaign statements that are absurd, its more of a reflection on our lack of knowledge on policies that harm us. The Germans would never tolerate student loan debts, how edu is funded, being ruled by health insurance firms that controls our medical care, the absurd banking system, outmoded transportation and so on. Could it be that the culprit to our ills is our image in the mirror? Seriously, what will we do when gas hits $6 a gallon?

Europe is collapsing and there's nothing anyone can do to stop it. It's not headline news. Justin Bieber is headline news.

Remember after 9/11 or go back a while to Pan Am flight 103 when people were outraged because so many in government knew these events may happen but they said and did nothing?

Because the news isn't depressing enough so many will be caught off guard and will be wiped out!

I would rather hear depressing news today and be very happy tomorrow because I prepared for this.

However I am a bit historic regarding the strength of Germany and it's manipulated fall to a dictator. I see fearful similarities now. At that time they called it Nationalism (in a Social way) i.e. National Socialism, NAZI.

The people driving us into economic oblivion aren't the "kids" protesting about crushing student loan debt and no jobs; the reason we have no jobs is that the 1% CHOSE to send the jobs to India, China etc. I disagree with a partial agreement. These "kids" are raised and schooled (indoctrinated) and are tools of the One World System. Most are there to party. Many have no real reasons except it's great fun to "make a change". It was not the 1% Capitalist that moved equipment to China and Mexico and many other places. It was the Government behind the government that gave tax breaks to move factories. Where is the scrap steel from the Twin Towers? Did it go to Gary Indiana to be melted down into construction steel? No it went to China. The car you now drive (if less than 10 years old) may be steel melted from the gurters of those towers. I have a Volkswagen (the Peoples Car). From what I understand it is German. The engine is made in Czechoslovakia, the transmission in Japan, the assemble car in Mexico. So much for a German car. Toyota however, a Japanese car is made near Lima Ohio.

I agree. However, the South was more farming and fabric manufacturing, the North more industrial. There was slavery in many northern states as well. The slavery item was NOT why the conflict occurred. It was a very good political trump card though. The Southern states where exercising the Constitutional rights given by our forefathers. Second amendment et al.
Those who do not learn History's lessons are doomed to relive them. This is my point. The whole damned government is corrupt and self serving (note many laws are exempt to them). I am tired of voting against the lessor of both evil parties. It would be nice to vote FOR someone that is not self serving or wishing to amalgamate our Country with the likes of a "common market" or United Nations, or whatever is to follow. In any case WE PAY, and now we have no backing of our I.O.U. currency. No gold standard, no silver in our silver dollars, only the "Full Faith and Credit of the United States of America". Frankly I have no faith and their credit is bankrupted. Just like we, the many peasants of this Country who have and will come to have a bankruptcy experience.

Banka, you nearly quoted the theme of a book I am now reading. It is fiction at this time, but perhaps not for long. The name is "One Second After" by William R. Forstchen, ISBN 978-0-7653-2725-3.

Another great novel but quite dated is "Alas Babylon" by Pat Frank. I don't have the ISBN. 'Hub

Arsenic has been linked to an increased risk of bladder cancer, so I can see why people are a bit worried about it.

Certain nuts, such as pecans, are also high in arsenic.

Unfortunately, in some areas (including my area) arsenic is found in the ground water in some rather high concentrations. Since my false positive result back in May, I have stopped drinking tap water. I only drink highly filtered water and safe juices.

Hope and Change has stopped the bleeding and stabilized the economy. Thank god for the stimulus. With out it unemployment would of been 18 percent plus. That is the role of gov't in a civilized society that certain stuff could harm and that caution is in order.

As for the 'occupiers', they could also accomplish in changing the rules at the ballot box such as including student loans in BK, issuing a medicaid card to all so that doctor visits can be a regular occurrence instead of the costlier ER and so on.

I suppose the Tea Partiers had a legit *****ing in your eyes?
