Golden one Credit union is a great bank. When I lived in California I used to bank with them. I loved them. Congrats.

OMG - couldn't believe it when I received the phone cap. I applied online at lending tree, capital one and somewhere else. Each were denied!.
When bk was discharged, my credit score was 515...today it is 657.

Bk was honestly THE best financial decision I ever made. There is life after BK! Don't give up!

Not the best rate but one day after discharge I can't complain. Not going to buy a car anywhere near $24,000 though. Hope to refiance whatevefr I buy after a year or so.

That's an impressive rate for just over a year out. Do you mind sharing Income, credit score, sale price, and amount down?

I agree with you Snax. Sometimes I'm blown away by the terms some people get. Income level and current FICO score must play a major role. I can see that some people may have reservations about posting salary.. but then again, no one knows who you are directly here.

I got approved in January for a new 2011 Toyota Prius Three. I couldn't get the zero percent financing but I did get 6% which isn't as bad as I expected.

I haven't even decided on a vehicle. I just thought I'd see what I could get. We re-affirmed our car at BK with a 7.09% loan, but it's not helping my credit. We have about $3,000 equity in it.
Loan is for me only and my income is around $60k. Was six figure prior to BK.
FICO was 652 at beginning of year, prior to going back to work. Not sure now.

Did not get a great deal straight after bk, had to buy a new car as mine was 15 years old on last legs. Dealer swindled us by getting us a 08 Pontaic G6, 10% interest which wasn't so bad considering it was days after dischrage but the car price was horrible. This past weekend, traded it in for Brand new Chevy Malibu 0% for 60 mos! Had to throw in some negative equity there but with the interest savigns we are in a much better place now not to mention 0 miles rather than 50k. Very thrilled with Ally bank for giving us a chance~!
