    defaulting on discharged mortgage

I have a few questions on my situation. I filed ch 7 and my home was discharged with everything else. I have been living in and am current on the home. I have an opportunity to buy another home that is seller financed so I would'nt be borrowing from a bank. Is their anything my current lender could do if I bought this home and defaulted on my current home? The new home is a great deal with a great interest rate. I'm just wondering if my lender sees my name on a new title and I defaulted on my old home what they could try and do to me. I live in CA. and am soliciting opinions.

The lender can foreclose on its collateral- the home you are walking from. Can the lender go after you for $$? No.

Will the foreclosure on the discharged mortgage show up on the OP's credit report?

$143,000 in debt discharged for $36,500, including attorneys fees. Money well spent!
