My ch 7 was discharged June 5 and I still have creditors reporting late payments. At least one just reported today 180 days past due

No it's new, they are reporting through the bk proceedings and my lawyer is a moron and no help at all. He even lied about that he said all late payments even before filing would come off and from what I see they won't. So now I have a ton of late payments in file but I would think the ones from the time petition was filed would come off but some are still reporting kate

Hmmm, well, speaking strictly for myself, all of my late payments, including the "late payments" logged for our car loan (there never was a single late on that account), lived on my reports for a full seven years. That said, all the lates in the world won't really change your credit scores much, if at all. Why? Because having a bankruptcy on your records carries more weight than all of the lates combined, and as long as that is on your record, your scores will continue to be depressed.
