I received a letter in the mail today from Juniper Bank. They increased my credit line. How's that for strangeness. I've had the card since 2007. I was expecting the letter to say, we have lowered your credit line. Anyone else had this happen?

I was surprised myself to say the least...it's my second card that I acquired about 9 mo. after discharge. You are being rewarded for your good, prudent and wise use of credit after filing. The key is that you are not being late with anything and I am assuming have not been applying for a lot of credit. Remember, just because they gave you an increase does not mean that you have to use it! :-) Watch their tactics..._________________________________________

Update: There's always a catch!
Yeah...they increased my credit by a grand & jacked my interest from 15 to 20%...Imagine that.....

HA! I wish my credit cards would increase my limits, especially around this time. It would be nice for Christmas...BUT, all I seem to keep getting are letters for a rate increase...I think I have gotten one for every card now, INCLUDING TARGET! LOLFiled Chapter 7: 3-22-08
