    Thanks
My TU score is 626 and my EQ is like 592 or something. My EQ score is really jacked up for some reason.

I don't know what that means but when I did it in September they said no immediately (pre-BK) They have to provide you or at least your attorney if you have one with something to prove you opened the account. At least a city, store where it was opened, something. Don't give up on that. I would pursue it to the hilt.

How soon did you apply for the Hooters card? I was thinking about doing them but since I did Cap 1 and this one I decided to wait. I haven't had an actual credit card in a long time.

Congrats Lisa, and I agree Lisa, you have to start somewhere. What is your score now if you don't mind me asking.
I was on the phone with Cap1 for 2.5 hours 1 day last week and they said they don't have to provide me anything. I do know the app was done online with them. At the same time I had $2k stolen from my checking account. Also, in the mail last week I got a letter from Cap1 saying I had applied for a new account with them, I told the lady at Cap1 that, and she didn't even care. I didn't apply for anything with them, I don't really like Cap1 to start with. I told them that they found the other account as fraud so why in the world would the second account be mine? I haven't hired a lawyer yet, I have worked in fraud in the past and I still have friends that do at local CC companies. I'm still working on it. I will not give up, just really is messing up my credit right now. If I wanted a CO on my CBR's I wouldn't have filed CH 7 in 2006.

I just applied for the Hooters card last weekend it. It seems like a good post BK card to get. $500 CL and a $48 AF. I'll just charge my gym membership to it and PIF each month. I use my Wells Fargo secured card all the time, the points program is good with it.

They say they have proof that I opened it, I asked for the proof and was given the answer "we can't give that to you"! So, I have a CO on my file and then my BK from 4 years ago. If anyone has any advice on how to handle this Cap1, I'm sure open to hear it. Also, you should try for the Hooters Mastercard. I got approved for $500 with them. I also have a secured card through Wells Fargo which I guess they are not graduating to unsecured currently due to all these new fed crap.

So how long before you got the Best Buy card in the mail? I am a little concerned someone stole it or it is lost in the mail, it has been a over a month since I was approved and nothing has come in the mail.
