Bk friendly Best Buy (HSBC) MasterCard Soft Hit Pre-approval

Got it a day after I made that post.

When I applied for the card it asked for verification via phone, called and was approved, but took 2 1/2 weeks to get the card... Credit One was approved immediately and had the card in a week, they also reported to all three CB in three business days, it took over two months for HSBC Best Buy to report to TU and EQ still not showing on EX? So far not really impressed with HSBC, but we'll see who gives me a CL increase at the 6 month mark!

I applied several weeks ago and was approved for $100, received my card 5 days ago. I check the mail today and guess what another card? Same limit though.

Now can I use both of the cards or can I only have one?

Yay that's great! Odd how their procedures change from week to week... guess they don't want us figuring out their secrets. Grats!

13 days later I still don't have a card in the mail, yet I've already registered my account and stuff....maybe it is just taking longer to ship them?

Sweet!! I checked this morning (just now, as a matter of fact) and it said Ive been approved for $500!!

Well... I did get an interesting phone call today... a pre-recorded message saying "We are just verifying the phone information you gave us" and hung up. Could it be the best buy card? Anybody else get a similar call?

You don't need to wait for them to send you a link to check the status... you can check right on this website:

There is a link on the right to check application status.
Did you get asked to verify your identity? Typically, if you are going to be approved, there will be a link that asks you if you wish to verify your identity online or via phone.

Nope, it didnt ask

I just checked the link and it said "im sorry, we are unable to finalize your application. You will be hearing from us in 10-14 days".

Oh well...not meant to be apparently.

I applied and it said my 'application was under review' and id 'hear from them in 10-14 days'. It also said theyd email me a link to check the status.

Anybody else have this? Automatic denial in fewer words?

Thanks for posting, I was approved for $100 at least its something to rebuild my credit.
