    Cfna firestone card

I applied and I was approved! Does anyone have any experience with this card?? Does it report to the credit bureaus?

I have it, it survived my BK in 2008.

I use it from time to time. Just make sure you make your payment on time, the interest rate is like 24%. They even have online access so you can see your statement and pay your bill.

Haven't had any problems. And yes, it reports to the 3 credit bureaus. And they have raised my credit limit 3 times over the three years (without my asking).

    Hope this helps.

I have had mine for 18 months, nice card with 0% for 6 months, it also reports to all 3 credit bureaus. I started at $850, now over $2600 credit line. Nice for those unexpected auto repairs or tires!

I believe that the Firestone card was the first unsecured card I received post-BK. The initial limit was $1,200.00. I'm not sure what the limit is right now. It may be the same, or it may have increased. I haven't checked in a while.

The interest rate is high, but there are no fees, and any purchase over $299.00 is interest-free for six months. They do report to all three credit bureaus.

I'm a proponent of cards like Firestone's for recovery from BK. They're easy to get, and because of their limited purpose and acceptance, they're a bit harder to abuse than Visa, MC, etc.

How long after discharged should we wait to apply if we choose to get a cc. This one sounds good as it is very limited if needed although I'm still on a cash only policy.
