    Federal Student Loans

Hello First timer, out of WA State.

So doing my first, and last BK 7.

Are Federal and Private Student Loans considered consumer debt loans ?
And do I list these under Schedule-E Creditors Holding Unsecured Priority Claims or
Schedule-F Creditors Holding Unsecured Nonpriority Claims.

If we all know they won't be discharged do I even have to claim them....?

Yes, you must disclose ALL debt, dischargeable or not.

Student loans go on Schedule F. Although student loans are non-dischargeable, student loans are NOT priority debts.

The portion of student loans that was used for direct educational expense, e.g. tuition, fees, books, etc, are non-consumer debts. The portion, if any, of student loans used for living expenses, e.g. room and board, are consumer debts.
