And yes, there are people there and will listen.. It's all public information anyways.

Filed on 6 October '11. 341 Meeting on 18 Nov. There were about 20 others there, mostly couples. The individual meetings were recorded of course. You can hear all of the discussions between the debtors, Trustee, lawyers, etc. The Trustee was grilling some of the petitioners with questionable responses pretty hard.
In our case he questioned why we had separate addresses (been living apart due to work locations) and we had to publicly discuss values of our assets, our marital difficulties because of the separation, and plans for counseling. BK is a matter of public record; if you have concerns about privacy, recommend that you deal with that before your meetings with the Trustee. Another minor issue: absolutely no cell phones, PDAs, etc are allowed in the building - That info is not posted anywhere and our lawyer/BK Court notices failed to inform us of that in advance; had to run back to the car to dump the phones; luckily the Trustee was also running late for the meetings.

i don't think here in our florida district that our cell phones were any issue. interesting, since these are all federal courts.
