    Trustee Payment to Creditors Outstanding/Cacnelled

Hi, this is kind of weird and I don't know if I should worry or not. I use the 13network site to look at the trustee payments and stuff. In June, checks to nfcu were not deposited, and were cancelled by the trustee. In July all the payments to creditors are outstanding... I guess they could be paper checks.

I emailed the Trustee, and they said they resent the money, my side is current, and not to worry about it.

Wondering if anyone else had creditors not depositing the Trustee's checks?

    Thanks!!!

Please, do not worry about what the Trustee does. It's all black magic. They sometimes issue checks, never mail them, and cancel them before sending. They typically send checks only once a month towards the end of the month. Each Chapter 13 Trustee office is different. We have 4 Chapter 13 Trustees and they do significant work (some of the busiest in the country).

So long as your payments are on-time to the Trustee, they are on-time for all other purposes.

All of the Trustees that I know send paper checks through regular mail. Sometimes the creditor changes a mailing address and the Trustee is not updated; the check is returned. This is why the time between final payment and discharge can be so long as the Trustee must wait for all the checks in flight to determine the final accounting.
    Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10
