Congrats! So happy for you guys. We are 7 payments into our 60 months. Still can't see even a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel as we are not yet confirmed.

@Spidge, Ch 13 confirmations can take quite a while to get to confirmation, especially when there are trustee and/or creditor objections involved or finances change significantly after filing and the original plan has to be amended. Your local court is one that confirms the day of the 341. Most Ch 13s are confirmed at a special confirmation hearing 3-4 weeks after the 341 (sometimes longer in a court with lots of filings).

Check out my signature - our confirmation came 15 months after we filed. What you have to realize is that it really didn't matter to us. We just kept making our monthly payments on time until our judge finally officially ruled on two trustee objections and confirmed our plan.

Bankruptcy is not a fast journey. Patience is key to surviving because the courts move at their own glacial pace. There's very little - often nothing - you or your lawyer can do to make things move along any faster.

@Kuya - hang in there. Check with your lawyer periodically to see how things are progressing to confirmation. You'll make it and until then, just keep making your payments on time and working on implementing a great budget.

@Ron - apologies for highjacking your thread. Hopefully this helps some of our newer 13ers who are wondering about Ch 13 confirmation timelines and causes for delays.

thanks we are now just trying to find out how to get the copy signed by the judge all we got was the one from the attorney a pdf not signed and we need a signed version.
