Just Checked Pacer---DISCHARGED!!!!!!!

I have become ocd checking pacer every night for the discharge, and I wasn't holding my breath tonight but the discharge is on there. I wish I had found this website earlier in the BK, I've found lots of useful information the past year. I've been waiting for this day for a long time. I know what got me here and I am in no hurry to get back into debt anytime soon. Many thanks to all the people on this website for help.

Congratulations!!! We have about 2 months left on our 13 and I can't wait to see the big Discharged on our account!! It's also nice to know that I am not the only one who is OCD on checking our account every day..LOL!! Again..congratulations!!

Yes the last payout was mid January. It took longer than I liked but it us finished.

Pacer is the online court records and document system in a nutshell. You can view records and documents that are about your BK. There is a sticky on this forum on how to use the system.

Congrats! Just wrote out my final ch13 payment and mailing it today...now is my waiting time for discharge. My attorney says it'll take about 2 months.
Haven't been on Pacer for a while but I know that I will be....wink, wink!

Can I ask without stealing the thread, why does it take so long to discharge after the final payment?
