Best way to find every debt you have incurred in your lifetime, for CH 7 in FL?

Per my lawyer, I must find out every possible debt I have ever incurred during my lifetime, prior to filing Chapter 7 in FL. I am 68.5 years old.

Is it just a run of the mill "credit report" by one of the 3 big ones? or anything beyond that?

I would run a tri-bureau credit report. Since these credit reports would only contain unpaid debt from 7-10 years (excluding judgments), you do need to really think about any person or business to which you owe money.

Personally, I just did the 3 bureau credit report and used that as a list of recent creditors. In my case, American Express submitted a claim from 20 years earlier. The debt was both unenforceable and not actually mine, but it was interesting to see that AMEX never forgets a debt.

7 to 10 years huh?... Good to know that. A tri-bureau report seems like the way to go then. Beyond 10 years, I don't owe anything. My life as my finances have been simple.

Of course, you should make a diligent effort to include every creditor, collection agency, and debt buyer which has ever owned or contacted you regarding any debt. However, as long as your bankruptcy is "no asset", the discharge will cover any and all dischargeable debts which you owed on the day you filed--even if you failed to list some of them.
