Don't even be worried. The trustee barely even looks at you. She looked down at her papers the whole time for everyone. It was very informal. Just a quick bing bang wham cycle them in and out process. Nothing like a court date at all.

Cali, I know--I had a terrible panic attack late morning--couldn't take a deep breath, stomach ached, head spun, yeah, found myself head down in the toilet...

Tonight, I am taking a deep breathe...it is what it is. Their is no reason for me to be put through the meat grinder. I am a no asset case, I have been totally honest about everything. Thge worry is that I am just not good under these sort of public circumstances, maybe I will pretend the trustee is naked to take the edge off....IDK.

TEW--I faxed the letters(3 of them) to my lawyers office from that creditor still harrassing me, they said they'll take care of it. I wonder if my lawyer can make a motion to stop Recovery Management Systems Corporation to not be copied any of my info b/c of that creditor not abiding by my bk filing?? I do still have this worry that that one particular creditor is going to be the one to object to everything every step of the way. I do not know of the legalities of it, so IDK if that can or can't be done.

I need to be strong. I am trying.

Everyone please wish me luck. I'm gonna need it.
hoping are those debts that you are worried about TAXes student loans or fines?

Stay strong! What I learn w/ these type of things are that you are most nervous leading up to it. Once you get there you realize it isn't bad at all. Then when you actually get in the "hotseat", it's over before you even know it. The moment of walking out of the door is great. Go treat yourself to some good ass food or something when you are done.

TEW--all debt are cc's, no student loans, no fines, no taxes, just credit cards and 2 lines of credits. Total credit card debt is 65K. The one that worries me the most is the one creditor that is still harrassing me. I know that one will object to everything--just a feeling.

mdbrill--I'm gonna get there around a half hour early, Not sure if that is a good or bad thing, Also gotta figure out who my lawyer is since the attorney I hired is sending one of his counsel instead. I have no comment for that.

If you didn't buy something less then 90 days before you filed they can not object even if you did they would have to prove you intended to commit fraud. It would also have to be a luxury item

Last time my cc were charged were automatic payments in July. One for $125.00 and the other for $169.00, I totally forget that they automatically came off my cc's until after I got an email confirmation. No luxury items purchased. The one thing that I am sure I might be asked about is in September when my debit card was stolen and my checking acct was in a negative. I stressed out b/c I didn't know how to pay a bill and charged it on the one cc I had left. I paid the card when my checking acct got straightenout out, but I asked my lawyer about this, and he told me I could. So ???? It was like I deposited $$ in my checking to pay online a bill due the next day, when I signed in to the checking my acct was in a negative with all these charges I never ever made. I totally freaked and called the bank(they froze my account) and my lawyer, asking my lawyer if I could use that one cc. He asked me how much that was for, he thought a moment and told me to charge the bill, and then pay that card. I may be questioned about it, but the identity theft is known and was documented, it was over 1k in charges b/c I have overdraft on my checking acct. The bill I paid in september with a cc was around $85.00. My lawyer didn't seem worried. So, I may be asked about that. That is bad, isn't it??

Yes!! Tomorrow is the meeting. Cross fingers for me. The trustee did ask for my banking statement from september, it's full of red negatives. But he asked for that a week or so ago. And haven't heard of anything else since. Is that a good sign? Or does that mean he's investigating that? My debt card was stolen, I do not know how, but it was and I didn't charge over 1K on porn sites. I paid that cc the $85 bucks already as soon as I could w/ a money order.

the trustee is looking for assets not how much porn you looked at.

Hoping: Your creditor can come and object and jump up and down all they want at that meeting. The fact remains, if you are upside down (assets vs liabilities) there is no way they can force a payback (barring fraud, which in your case doesn't exist).

And your substitute counsel will walk around, calling your name, since he doesn't have a clue what you look like and vice versa. Most of the top-dog lawyers send in their minions to do the grunt work (341's). You definately won't be the only one with a sub. I know I didn't have the attorney that originally rep'd me (good looking dude, useless, but good looking). They sent me, uhh, well...let's say he didn't do a thing for me!

This won't be a problem. If they ask (which I doubt they will), tell them you lost your dc, the account od', it was subsequently frozen/closed (which ever the case). They don't scrutinize your statements, just looking for high dollar expenses/deposits that are beyond paychecks and rent/auto payments.

I hope the counsel that comes will help me if I need it. And I hope she is familiar with my schedules/case. B/c if she isn't I might as well have a tree be there to represent me.

You are going to be fine. You will be able to explain anything you need. It's not like a trial back in the Roman era. If something is in error or f'd up you won't get yelled at or anything. They will just explain things and ask things. Let us know how it went. At least at the end of the day today, it will be behind you. It will be a great feeling.

And if we don’t hear from you and we see a couple of lions walking around licking their chops we will know that GE money bank had you hauled off and fed to the lions. Or your most likely in debtor prison.
                              Good luck
