You know what's funny, Muslim banks are not allowed to charge interest. So you have to wonder who is the true enemy here. There is nothing worse than a wolf in sheep's clothing.

I wish we had some middle eastern banks here as they are not allowed to exploit their customers and then say oh well you signed (agreed) to those conditions. Only in America are banks allowed to get away with murder, as long as you signed on the dotted line. Having spent years overseas, their banks are held accountable and all contracts are subject to the decision of the courts. Which means that a court can cancel a contract at will, regardless of what is in it. Not here. Once you sign on the bottom line, you are in servitude again.

Every single thing in the western world has been designed to protect those with money.

And people keep voting for the party of the rich and big corps - because they pull the strings of the "buy my vote" boys and girls in DC and State Houses across the country. - jb

Yet if anyone thinks that voting left wing is the key they are also mistaken. Those guys are just as corrupt, if not worse. What sort of a party wants to give 20,000,000 illegal immigrants amnesty at a time when millions of Americans are losing their livelihood. what sort of a party refuses to change the laws so that illegal immigrants don't just pop over the border and have kids to qualify for citizenship. Kids that we the taxpayer ultimately fund. I don't blame the illegal immigrants but I do blame the government for doing nothing because in their eyes this illegal immigrant may one day become a voter. So screw the American living on the street for the prospect of a future additional vote. Politicians have let our country down for years now. We are no better than some of those South American countries.

Socialism = Communism, which are both failed concepts. That is the reality whether people accept it or not. This doesn't mean we let capitalism go on unregulated. Capitalism works but needs to be fair, honest and an equal playing field for all. Not just those with old school money or wall street.

You want an example, just look at Canada who is kicking our butts (big time) in terms of living standards. All while more and more Americans are living in squalor.

Sorry moderators for going off topic.

PS what a scumbag thing to do citi. Especially after asking the taxpayer for bailouts. I want this to happen to me so I can send every senator the example of what they are doing to Americans behind congresses back while demanding a bailout. I would also contact all of the media outlets.

I don't disagree with a lot of what you say - particularly, "Yet if anyone thinks that voting left wing is the key they are also mistaken. Those guys are just as corrupt"

Buy your saying. "look at Canada"? They are, indeed, kicking our butts - and have one of the most "socialist" countries in the world. - jb

Here is the problem. How do you tell Walmart they have to raise their prices so the Ma and Pa shops have a fair playing field. Then how do you tell the consumer they have to pay more in order to keep the ma and pa shops in business. In a round about way, isn't this just another form of socialism as people are paying more in order to create a fair playing field?

I'm on 100% agreement with you on this one. That's why I became anti-religious after I saw the way people became. Religious people seem to "judge" people too much and I don't like that one bit. They don't practice what they preach. Religion is no longer for me. I don't like all of that war and killing. Anyway, I don't want to get on a religious rant here. That's getting off topic too much.

Jeb, after reading your posts, you are someone that would be a good beer drinking buddy, if I drank beer. I agree with pretty much everything you said in your last several posts.

We have to eliminate the trade deficit. That NAFTA thing from Clinton really killed all of us. They need to stop the outsourcing. I'd rather pay more money for a higher quality product and get good service.

Remember years ago when things were all more expensive before Walmart and everything... and people all had more money and were able to buy more stuff for cash. Wal-mart didn't do us any favors. They came in and were like a cancer to all of the cities.

I was going to say rent this movie, but they have it on-line now!
"Walmart: The High Cost of Low Price"

                  http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...96181471292925

That is the full movie on-line. Watch it and learn how Walmart has destroyed this entire country. Watch all of the mom and pop shops that have been put out of business.
